Biography
Prof. Janardhan Reddy Koduru FRSC is a Professor of Environmental Engineering at Kwangwoon University, Seoul, South Korea. He has over 20 years of experience in Academics and Research. Prof. Koduru expertise in the development of sustainable nanocomposites for environmental and energy applications. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), London. He has published over 220 papers including 35 book chapters/ edited three books including “Sustainable Nanotechnology for Environmental Remediation” and “Hybrid Nanomaterials for Sustainable Applications published by Elsevier and holding more than six Korean patents. He received over 25 awards for his excellent research and academic achievements. He is member of many international societies including International Associate member of Japan Society on Water Environment (JSWE), Japan and Indian Society of Analytical Scientists (ISAS), Mumbai, India (LM 1800). He is peer-reviewed member for more than 200 scientific journals. He has been featured in the Top 2% Global scientists published by Sandford University for the year 2023 and 2024. He received the top 1% Publons Peer Reviewer Awards for multidisciplinary and environment &ecology continuously since 2016-2019. Prof. Koduru acts as editorial board member for Scientific Reports (Springer Nature), Current Analytical Chemistry (Hindawi). He acted as a guest editor for various scientific journals including Journal Environmental Management (Spl. Issue: Environment & Energy), Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering (Spl. Issue: “Magnetic nano composites and emerging applications), Elsevier, and Applied Sciences Journal, MDPI (Spl. Issue: Nanocomposites for the Sustainable Environment). He has guided 04 PhD Students and 02 MSc students. He received a total of five research grants of more than $ 80,000 USD each from various research funding bodies in Korea. He acts as international subject expert for various funding agencies and PhD thesis evaluator for various organizations. His author H-index: 62 with over 10800 citations.

Research Interests: Sustainable nanomaterials/materials development for water and energy applications (H2, water splitting, and fuel cell), green water treatment technology, separation and purification techniques, catalytic redox remediation of water pollutants (electrocatalytic and photo catalytic), waste to waste treatment, chemistry, bioremediation, extractive and adsorptive recovery of valuable materials, sensors for pollutants, electroanalytical techniques.
