Dr. Nguyen Nhat Linh is a Senior Researcher at the Laboratory of Plasma Technology, Institute of Materials Science, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), Hanoi, and a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Materials Science and Nanotechnology, University of Science and Technology of Hanoi. He received his PhD from Kwangwoon University, Republic of Korea, and his research addresses cold atmospheric plasma, dielectric barrier discharge, and plasma–liquid interaction, together with the plasma-assisted synthesis of functional nanomaterials — including gold and silver nanostructures, transition metal oxides, graphene quantum dots and laser-induced graphene — for photocatalytic, electrocatalytic and biomedical applications. He has published more than 40 articles in Web of Science-indexed journals and is a co-inventor on three granted patents in the Republic of Korea and Vietnam. He has led projects under the VAST high-level young scientist programme, a VINIF postdoctoral grant and institutional programmes at IMS, and has served as a key member of national and ministerial projects funded by NAFOSTED and VAST.
