Prof. Nagendra Kaushik is an accomplished academician at Kwangwoon University, Seoul, where he has served for the past 16 years. He is also the President of the Indians in Korea (IIK) Organization. Renowned for his pioneering research in plasma bioscience, nanobiotechnology, and biomedical engineering, Prof. Kaushik has published over 300 scientific papers and holds multiple patent applications.

He is recognized as a Highly Cited Researcher by Kwangwoon University, placing him among the top 1% of academician in the university, and serves as honorary professor and advisor at several institutions and editor for more than 20 leading international journals. Prof. Kaushik has been listed among the World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University and Elsevier for last six consecutive years.

For his outstanding contributions, he has been honored with Honorary Citizenship by the Seoul Metropolitan Government, the Cabinet Ministerial Award at National Assembly of Korea (Korean Parliament), the prestigious Plasma Medicine Award from the International Society of Plasma Medicine (USA) and elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), UK. He has also been recognized as the “Sunlight of Korea” by the BRIC organization, along with several other awards for his high-impact scientific achievements.
